Houthi militias shelled populated areas in the Deir district of the Hiran directorate in northern Hajjah province on Tuesday, resulting in civilian casualties and extensive damage to homes and private property.

Local sources reported that the Houthi shelling injured Samira Mohammed Ahmed Ibrahim, 29, with shrapnel to the neck and right leg, leaving her in serious condition. Additionally, five-year-old Nidal Ali Ibrahim Bideed was injured in the left leg. The attack also caused significant destruction to the home and personal belongings.
