Yemeni Army Spokesperson Accuses Houthis of Terrorism, Targeting Infrastructure

Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson, Major General Majid Al-Nazeeli, has accused the Houthi militia of escalating their targeting of civilians and vital infrastructure, asserting that the group "claims a blockade while actually imposing one on Yemenis with Iranian missiles and drones."

In an official statement released on his X platform account, Al-Nazeeli stated that the militia's attacks have impacted the nation's resources, travel routes, and livelihoods, describing them as retaliatory actions in response to successive battlefield defeats.

The spokesperson detailed the Houthi militia's recent terrorist attacks, which included a ballistic missile strike on Aden International Airport, three ballistic missile strikes on Al-Rayan International Airport in Mukalla, and an attack on the sponge factory in Bir Basha, Taiz.

Al-Nazeeli emphasized that this hostile approach reflects the Houthi militia's state of confusion whenever they suffer setbacks on the front lines, noting that these criminal assaults will not provide them with any escape from their predicament.

He concluded by affirming that the "Fajr Al-Yaman" (Dawn of Yemen) operation is continuing with full force and steadfastness until its objectives of dismantling the Houthi project and restoring state institutions are fully achieved.
