Three Killed in Hajjah Governorate by Suspect with Psychological Disorder

Three individuals, including the perpetrator's father and brother, were killed in a brutal incident in the Al-Harajij village of the Kai’dinah district in Hajjah Governorate, an area under the control of the Houthi militia.

Local sources reported that Rabi’ Shamhan, who is said to be suffering from a psychological disorder, used an axe to commit the murders. The victims were identified as his father, his brother Ahmed, and a third man named Suhaif from the Al-Dahaimah area, who is also reportedly experiencing psychological distress.

The sources further indicated that villagers apprehended the suspect following the commission of the crime.

This incident occurs amidst severe living and humanitarian conditions in areas controlled by the Houthi militia. The militia's alleged embezzlement of salaries has reportedly exacerbated psychological conditions due to the deterioration of economic and social circumstances.
