Security Raids Target Arms and Houthi Cells in Sayun

Security forces in Sayun, Hadramout Governorate, have launched extensive, surprise security campaigns aimed at preventing the carrying of weapons and apprehending suspected Houthi cells.

The operations, conducted by the First Military Region forces and the Second Brigade of the Shield of the Homeland forces, involved a significant deployment of security checkpoints and mobile patrols across major and minor streets. The primary objectives were to prohibit arms possession and pursue outlaws.

Additionally, raid operations were executed targeting locations suspected of harboring or concealing elements belonging to Houthi militias. This initiative reflects a broader strategy to enhance security and public order within the region.

Leadership from the First Military Region and the Shield of the Homeland's Second Brigade affirmed that these actions are part of a proactive security plan. The plan aims to elevate security readiness and vigilance, protect civilians, and thwart any terrorist or sabotage attempts that could compromise the security and stability of the Wadi and Sahra districts of Hadramout.
