Government forces launched an offensive against Houthi militia positions in the Al-Maydan heights west of Taiz city on Monday, coinciding with clashes erupting across several frontlines in the governorate.
The Taiz Axis Media Center reported that the armed forces engaged Houthi militias in the Al-Shaqab and Al-Aqrosh fronts, as well as the vicinity of Jabal Han in the western sectors. Engagements also took place in the Al-Dabab and northern fronts.
The center further stated that warplanes carried out eight airstrikes targeting Houthi positions and gatherings in Al-Tabbah Al-Hamra, the Al-Khazan and Al-Maydan hills, and the surroundings of Jabal Han.
These developments occur amidst ongoing military confrontations in Taiz's frontlines, which are experiencing continuous escalation between government forces and the Houthi militia.
