Yemeni Forces Destroy Houthi Jamming Systems, Cameras in Al Jawf
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced Tuesday the destruction of jamming systems and surveillance cameras belonging to the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Al Jawf Governorate. The strikes were carried out by drones operated by the Sixth Military Region.
The Information Center of the Armed Forces released footage depicting the targeting and destruction of these systems. The center stated that the Houthi militia had deployed these devices in various areas of the governorate in an attempt to impede the operations of the armed forces' drone aviation.
It was also noted that the continued flow of such technology to the Houthi militia constitutes a violation of arms embargo resolutions, underscoring the support these supplies provide to the militia's military capabilities.
This development comes amidst other recent reports, including protests in Taiz demanding road openings and warnings about the collapse of the health sector, and government forces combing areas west of Taiz with airstrikes targeting Houthi gatherings and equipment.
