National Resistance, Southern Tribes Recapture Strategic Sites in Lahj

Units of the National Resistance forces, supported by tribal fighters from the Subeihah, have recaptured strategic positions and hills in the Al-Mudariyah and Ras Al-Ara districts of Lahj Governorate in southern Yemen, inflicting significant losses on Houthi militants.

Field sources reported that the National Resistance forces, with the backing of Subeihah tribesmen, successfully regained control of the strategically important Jabal Sefan and Qarn Al-Shumayyah sites in the eastern sector of Al-Mudariyah and Ras Al-Ara districts. This recapture followed intense clashes with the Houthi terrorist militia, which lasted for several hours and resulted in substantial human and material losses for the militia.

The confrontations have been ongoing since Sunday afternoon between the Resistance forces and their allies on one side, and the Houthi militia on the other. The clashes erupted after the militia launched an offensive on Qarn Al-Shumayyah and the areas of Al-Majza' and Al-Zanqarah in the Al-Mudariyah front, advancing from the direction of Al-Zurayqah.

Sources indicated that the forces stationed on the front demonstrated steadfastness and bravery in repelling Houthi advances and thwarting successive attacks launched by the militia in multiple waves since yesterday. The recapture of Jabal Sefan and Qarn Al-Shumayyah represents a significant field advancement that will bolster military positions and secure the area.
