Southern and National Resistance Forces Seize Strategic Sites in Lahj
Southern and National Resistance forces have achieved significant battlefield advances in the Al-Maqatirah front in Lahj Governorate, liberating strategic mountainous positions previously held by Houthi militia elements.
The Fourth Hazm Brigade (Southern Resistance) and the First Maghawir Brigade (National Resistance) launched a swift and decisive offensive against Houthi positions in the villages of Hadada and Ma'baq. During the operation, joint forces successfully captured and secured several key mountain sites overlooking Hadada village, most notably the Khazan Hadada hilltop, following intense clashes.
Field sources confirmed that the offensive resulted in substantial Houthi casualties and equipment losses. Resistance forces are continuing their advance, pursuing fleeing militia members while clearing and securing the liberated areas and consolidating military positions.
This recent progress follows an earlier successful operation where the Fourth Hazm Brigade and First Maghawir Brigade thwarted a Houthi attempt to seize the Khazan hilltop in the Al-Sawalih area, also within the Al-Maqatirah front west of the Tor Al-Baha district.
