Joint Forces Recapture Strategic Site in Al-Mudharabah Amid Airstrikes in Lahj and Taiz
Joint Forces have successfully recaptured a strategic military site in the Al-Mudharabah front, Lahj Governorate, following decisive clashes with Houthi militias. This advance occurred concurrently with intensive airstrikes targeting Houthi military positions and reinforcements across the fronts of Lahj and southern and western Taiz.
Field sources confirmed that the Joint Forces have established complete control over "Jabal Al-Ahnab Al-Abyad" in Al-Mudharabah district. The intense battles forced Houthi elements to retreat and flee, having sustained significant human and material losses, and witnessing the destruction of several military vehicles.
The clashes resulted in the capture of a Houthi sniper along with his 50mm caliber weapon. Additionally, several militia fighters were neutralized through precise strikes by the Joint Forces' sniper units.
In a related development, warplanes and drones launched a series of successive raids targeting Houthi gatherings and positions east of Al-Mudharabah district and Ras Al-Ara. Four strikes specifically hit the "Al-Fasim" area and the bases on "Jabal Al-Abdar," leading to the destruction of military vehicles and equipment.
Earlier in the day, fighter jets also bombed Houthi reinforcements in the Al-Hajariya and Al-Muqaterah fronts, targeting militia movements in Al-Khabil Al-Yamani, Alaqmah, and the vicinity of Jabal Mibdar, while surveillance aircraft maintained continuous monitoring for any Houthi military movements.
The Fourth Military Region command affirmed the direct targeting of a Houthi military vehicle in the Al-Mudharabah-Bab Al-Mandab front. The command reiterated its commitment to ongoing field and aerial operations to thwart the militia's threatening maneuvers and secure the southwestern axis's contact lines.
