Houthi Missile Strike Kills Young Woman, Injures Husband and Mother in Ibb Farm
A Houthi militia missile strike on a farm in the Al-Akr village, Ashraf district, Ibb Governorate, claimed the life of a young woman and severely injured her husband and elderly mother on Sunday evening. The missile, reportedly a failed launch by the Houthi group, fell in the vicinity of the victims.
The deceased has been identified as Enas Abdulmalik Al-Abadi, 21. Her husband, Baligh Abdo Musleh, 24, sustained injuries to his forehead and left eye. His mother, Amria Saeed Saif, 55, suffered the amputation of her hand as a result of the incident.
Sources indicate that the missile landed on the farm shortly after the Houthi militia's failed attempt to launch it. The injured individuals were transported to Al-Qa'idah Hospital for medical treatment.
Human rights sources reported that the Houthi militia subsequently exerted pressure on the victims' family. The group allegedly used its media channels to attribute the attack to the Saudi-led Arab Coalition, attempting to deflect responsibility for the casualties.
